Doonesbury... again?

It is something of a comfort to know that, as the moonbats complain louder and louder about; Rush, Fox News taking market share from CNN, the allegations about Rove being treated like the trollish baiting they are and how much gas everyone else's SUV burns (becase they have theirs for a reason, you see); Doonesbury pen Trudeau seems to be clamoring for attention...

... the same way 4 year olds often do.

Only, he's not 4 anymore, and it appears that some people won't stand for that sort of behavior from a theoretically grown person.

I think this one is a case of false outrage... this is actually the first funny doonesbury strip I've seen in ages.

Oh, I wouldn't say I'm 'outraged',,, I really don't particularly care, though there are two, competing ideas surrounding the strip being pulled that should be considered:
In the main, I despise censorship, even if it couldn't happen to a nicer guy; but on the other hand, I am in full agreement with those editors who have put Trudeau's strip on the editorial page where it belongs.

Long and long ago, it moved well away from attempting to be 'entertainment'.

Why does Doonesbury belong on the editorial page but BC (also political and often religious) belong on the comics page rather than with the religious sections? The same could be said for Family Circus.

I'd be willing to bet I fall under the "moonbat" label for you. But then I believe Rove should be fired for outing a CIA agent, no matter what the reasons.

But then I'm just one of those that expects ethics to be part of the government.

Especially one which went out of it's way to tell us how it would bring personal responsibility to the job.
